Crystal Ball 2000.2

  1. Constant distribution does not work with LHS
  2. Cannot paste View > Percentiles, Statistics
  3. Developer Kit: Cannot change the defaults on sensitivity chart; Active sheet changes, CB.ResetND

Crystal Ball 2000.1

  1. Percentiles can be incorrect when running certain cases
  2. Windows 2000: users may not be able to run when not logged on as administrator, power user
  3. Macros: need better description in manual on how to input them in Run Preferences
  4. OptQuest: upper bound on decision variable not set correctly for some cases - first release
  5. Developer Kit: copy forecast before resetting simulation causes problems
  6. CB Predictor does not run on Excel 7 - first release
  7. CB Predictor does not run, Network version - first release
  8. OptQuest automatically changes run preferences if minimize Excel selected
  9. Scenario Analysis: run time error, Excel minimized
  10. OptQuest: problem if number of constraints > number of decision variables
  11. If a user develops a model that has assumptions with cell references in
    V5.1, then tries to open that model with an earlier version of Crystal Ball,
    The user will run into a problem. Everywhere you would see the cell references
    (=D3) you will see #REF.

  1. Unable to install properly to Excel 10 (Beta) for automatic startup
  2. Lose assumptions, forecasts sometimes when special characters are used in the worksheet
  3. Long workbook names: assumptions sometimes lost
  4. User can copy decision variables on top of assumptions
  5. Developer Kit: copying mixed ranges (assumptions, decision variables and forecasts) can give inconsistent results
  6. Developer Kit: Clear data does not always work properly
  7. 2D Simulation may not work correctly with PrecisionControl
  8. OptQuest: cannot change number of trials once loaded
  9. Gamma distribution fitting: locks up with negative mean
  10. Batch Fit does not work in Office 95
  11. Triangular with alternate parameters: not backward compatible

Crystal Ball 4.0g

  1. Problems running Crystal Ball with Excel 97 SR-2
  2. Excel freezes, extract sensitivity data after restoringthe run
  3. Developer Kit: CopyDataND does not work in some situations
  4. Developer Kit: CB.Simulation changing run preferences
  5. Other add-ins cause conflicts with Crystal Ball
  6. Beta distribution: can't define if alpha = 4.75, Beta = 1.25
  7. OptQuest won't run, spaces in installation path
  8. Unable to install properly, Excel 2000
  9. Bad macros or wrong name: Excel locks up
  10. Apostrophe in sheet name gives an error

  1. Discontinuous dates cause some problems
  2. Problem running if the user installs to Excel 7 but runs from Excel 8 or 9

  1. Ljung-Box description in User Manual incorrect
  2. CB Predictor may not run, Windows 2000 logged on as anything but an administrator or power user
  3. CB Predictor will not run, foreign versions of Excel - first release
