How do I install the user manuals for Crystal
Ball and other products?
You can install the Decisioneering product documentation as follows.
Please note that these instructions assume that you have the Crystal
Ball 2000.2.2 CD-ROM. (If you have the CD-ROM for Crystal Ball 2000.2
or an earlier version, the steps might differ slightly.) Adobe Acrobat
4.0 or later is required to view the user manuals, which are in PDF
format.

Put the Crystal Ball CD in your CD-ROM drive.

The CD browser automatically starts. If it doesn't
start automatically, you can start the CD Browser manually by running
the Setup file on the CD.

In the main menu, click on Install Products.

In the Install Products menu, click on User Manuals.

A Decisioneering Product User Manuals prompt appears,
containing instructions on how to extract the user manuals. Click
on OK to launch the file extractor.

In the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog, select the extraction
location by either:
- Accepting the default value of the Temp folder on the local machine
- Browsing to the desired location and clicking on OK to accept
it

For the Overwrite Files Without Prompting option:
- Leave the box unchecked if you want to confirm each overwrite of
an existing file with the same name
- Check the box if you want to overwrite all existing files with the
same names

Once you have confirmed all settings, click on Unzip
to extract the files to the selected location.

When prompted after the extraction, click on OK.

Click on Close to exit the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog.

To view the user manuals, go to the folder to which
you extracted the files (the Temp folder on the local machine by default)
and double-click on the desired user manual. The following user manuals
are available:
· Crystal Ball 2000 User Manual
· CB Predictor User Manual
· OptQuest for Crystal Ball 2000 User Manual
· Network Crystal Ball User Manual
· CB Turbo User Manual and Network Administrator Guide
