Platforms
Decisioneering has been notified of abnormalities that
have occurred on Windows XP machines after the installation or uninstallation
of Crystal Ball 2000.2. Before installing Crystal Ball, as with any
software, we recommend that you save the current configuration of your
system via the System Restore utility available on Windows XP.
To save your current configuration:
-
Clicking Start > Help And Support.
-
Click on Undo Changes To Your Computer With System Restore.
-
In the resulting dialog, select Create A Restore Point.
-
Click on Next.
-
Follow the directions.
We also recommend that when you uninstall Crystal Ball
and other software, you select Yes when prompted whether to remove shared
DLLs that are no longer in use.
Release Note:
These critical installer problems have been fixed with
the release of Crystal Ball 2000.2.2.
