How do I start CB Predictor?
When you first install CB Predictor, either starting it automatically
in Excel or from the CB Predictor icon, the CB Predictor toolbar should
automatically appear with three tools, undocked (floating). To start the
CB Predictor wizard, place your cursor in any of your data cells, and
then click on the first tool.
If your toolbar doesn't appear, you can start the CB Predictor wizard
from the Tools menu.
Why is the CB Predictor toolbar no longer visible?
If you start Excel and no CB Predictor toolbar appears, either you accidentally
closed the CB Predictor toolbar or CB Predictor is not started.
If you accidentally closed the CB Predictor toolbar, you can reopen the
toolbar by selecting View > Toolbars and checking CB Predictor from the
toolbar list (probably near the bottom). If CB Predictor doesn't appear
in the list, CB Predictor is not started. This can happen if you start
Excel without CB Predictor checked in the Tools > Add-ins dialog.
If CB Predictor is not started, you must either start Excel from a CB
Predictor icon (on your desktop or from the Start > Programs menu in Windows),
or you can select Tools > Add-ins in Excel and check CB Predictor. Selecting
CB Predictor in the Add-ins dialog starts CB Predictor automatically whenever
you start Excel. If CB Predictor doesn't appear in the Add-ins dialog,
you can click on Browse and navigate to the cbpred.xla file (by default,
this is in C:\Program Files\CB Predictor).
