Will Crystal Ball and Crystal Ball Pro 4.0g work
with Excel 2000?
Decisioneering has tested both Crystal Ball 4.0g and Crystal Ball Pro
4.0g with Office 2000, and both are fully functional with the version
of Excel included as part of the Office 2000 suite of products.
The first time that users start Crystal Ball 4.0g with Office 2000, the
following message might appear, "Crystal Ball has not been tested with
this version of Excel." You will only see this message the first time
you use the product. Simply click on OK to continue, and Crystal Ball
will operate normally.
If you have Crystal Ball 4.0g configured to start automatically with
Excel, you must reset this in the Add-ins dialog. To reset Crystal
Ball to start automatically with Excel, after Crystal Ball has been installed:
1) Select Tools > Add-ins.
2) In the Add-ins dialog, select Crystal Ball (if it is displayed).
3) If Crystal Ball is not displayed in the Add-ins dialog, click on the
Browse button.
4) Browse to the folder where you installed Crystal Ball.
5) Select the file CB.XLA.
6) Click on OK until you return to the main Excel window.
