When should I use Probability Functions instead
of standard Crystal Ball assumptions?
Probability functions are Crystal Ball functions that you can place directly
in Excel cells like any other Excel function. The advantage of using them
over the standard Crystal Ball assumptions are:
- You can use them directly in a spreadsheet cell.
- They run faster.
- You can combine them with other functions (e.g., =IF(A3 > 1, 5, CB.NORMAL(5,2)).
