Does the Sensitivity Analysis function in Crystal
Ball analyze my model?
When Crystal Ball performs a sensitivity analysis on a model, it determines
the correlations between the assumption and forecast cells. Assumptions
related to the target forecast have high correlations and appear at the
top of the sensitivity analysis list. Assumption cells unrelated to the
target forecast typically have very low, spurious correlations and appear
at the bottom of the sensitivity analysis list.
Crystal Ball does not analyze the entire model to determine dependancies.
That would require a large effort to decode the formulas and determine
which cells depend on which other cells.
