TECHNOTE

Why do I have incorrect sensitivity data (prior to version 4.0c)?

Problem

When you set the Sample Size to a number higher than 1024, Crystal Ball might calculate the sensitivity data incorrectly for certain models. In these cases, both the rank correlation and contribution to variance coefficients are noticeably incorrect.

Cause

An unforeseen overflow in Crystal Ball occurs in the sensitivity calculations.

Workaround

This problem is fixed in Crystal Ball Version 4.0c.
