TECHNOTE
How can I filter my forecast results?
You can filter your forecast results to only report the data within
a particular range, above a minimum, or below a maximum, by changing
the display range. This mimics the filter functionality of @RISK.
To filter your results by setting the Display Range:
- Run your simulation.
- In the forecast chart, select Preferences > Display
Range.
- Set the minimum and maximum display range values.
- Either click on OK or Apply To All. Either the current
forecast chart or all the forecast charts (if you clicked on Apply
To All) change to display only the range you indicated.
- In the forecast chart, select Preferences > Statistics.
- Select to base the statistics on the Display Range.
- Click on Apply To All.
Crystal Ball now calculates the statistics only on the
display range.
Note: Crystal Ball still performs sensitivity
calculations using the full range of the forecast results.
