Rob Barnett
Rob Barnett is a trainer and product consultant for Oracle. Rob has provided Crystal Ball training since April 2003 and enjoys teaching the tools associated with risk analysis. Rob was introduced to Monte Carlo simulation techniques through applications in finance. He has both an MBA in Finance from Georgetown University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Rob has worked in both the accounting and investment banking firms focusing on valuation techniques. Prior to getting an MBA, Rob worked in the biotech industry after earning a BS in Bioengineering from UCSD.Rob teaches Introduction to Crystal Ball, Advanced Crystal Ball, and Introduction to Real Options.
Fred Ciochetto
Fred Ciochetto is a trainer, product consultant and Six Sigma product manager. He is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds a MS in Operations Research and a BS in Mathematics from the Colorado School of Mines. Prior to joining Decisioneering in 2003, Fred held managerial positions within Fortune 500 corporations in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Communications, Technology and Management Consulting sectors. He has extensive experience in delivering substantial and measurable business results through application of Lean Speed and Six Sigma Quality. He is particularly interested in risk analysis, stochastic modeling and optimization techniques for driving business process improvement.

Hilary Emmett
Hilary Emmett is a trainer and product consultant for Oracle. In addition to her training and consulting duties, Hilary is a currently a Six Sigma Black Belt candidate, leading project teams as part of Decisioneering's in-house process improvement initiative. Hilary joined Decisioneering in June 2000. She has provided consulting, training, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) modeling services for a variety of Decisioneering’s Fortune 500 and international clients. Hilary holds a BA in Mathematics from Graceland University. To her, training is more than teaching the ins and outs of Crystal Ball as a software tool. The training courses are an opportunity to introduce new ideas for the expanded application of risk analysis

Rob Gilchrist, PhD
Dr. Rob Gilchrist is President of Smart Decisions, LLC, a consulting company focused on providing clients with simple, effective solutions for their decision-making needs.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Operations Research from the Colorado School of Mines, an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Gilchrist has over 21 years experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis and decision modeling.
He currently teaches Introduction to Crystal Ball and Advanced Crystal Ball.
Dave Hammal
Dave Hammal is the European trainer and product consultant based out of the UK office in London. He earned a BEng in Mechanical Engineering at UMIST, Manchester. Dave joined Decisioneering in September 2005, having previously worked for Ford Motor Company. While at Ford, Dave worked as a Manufacturing Engineer before being trained as a Six Sigma Black Belt. There he used the DMAIC process to make data driven decisions during the launch of new models throughout Europe. This allowed build issues to be resolved permanently and in a much timelier manner.
Dave also carried out the training of Green Belts within Ford and enjoys teaching others techniques to make better informed decisions. He is exited to implement Crystal Ball in other businesses outside of manufacturing.

Steve Hoye
Steve Hoye has over 26 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, first as a geophysicist, and later as Asset Team Manager and Team Leader for exploration and production teams working with Texaco in the U.S. Mid-continent and Permian Basin. He has an extensive computer programming background and over 10 years of experience forecasting the effects of uncertainty and risk on the financial results of a wide range of project types from oil and gas drilling portfolios to new product development and sales. Steve earned the designation 'Chartered Financial Analyst' from the CFA Institute, and holds an MBA from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, and a BS in Geophysics from Purdue University with a mathematics emphasis.
Steve developed and teaches Decisioneering's Advanced Crystal Ball for Oil & Gas course. He also teaches the following courses for Decisioneering: Introduction to Crystal Ball, Advanced Crystal Ball, Introduction to Real Options, and Spreadsheet Modeling Techniques for Business: Best Practices. Steve consults with companies worldwide on the use of stochastic modeling in financial analysis and business decision making.
Jesper Johansen
Jesper Johansen is a trainer and product consultant for Oracle. He holds a BA in Business Administration from London South Bank University, an MS in Finance & Accounting from University of Southern Denmark, and an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona Spain. He has 8 years of experience as a consultant in the financial software industry and the financial services sector.
Jesper was introduced to Monte Carlo simulation and Stochastic modeling during his studies, as tools to price derivatives and model the term structure of interest rates. Prior to joining Decisioneering he worked as a software trainer at Sungard, where he taught Security Theory, Financial Reporting, General Ledger Processing, and Investment Accounting to Sungard’s 600+ client base running Enterprise Portfolio System (EPS), an investment accounting application for the insurance industry.

Alberto Landeaux
Ingeniero Mecánico, graduado de la Universidad Tecnológica de Centro en Venezuela, presidente de ISC GERENCIA DE ACTIVOS, empresa dedicada a consultoría en Ingeniería de Confiabilidad y Riesgo. Su Maestría en Gerencia Financiera le ha permitido integrar la ingeniería y las finanzas a través del estudio de confiabilidad y asignación de recursos económicos en operaciones y mantenimiento de sistemas industriales. La educación es una de sus pasiones y actualmente tiene una catedra de ANALISIS DE RIESGO.
Alberto ingreso al equipo de Decisioneering ( creadores de Crystal Ball ) en el 2005 y a preparado mas 100 personas en el uso de la herramienta.
Decisioneering, Inc. certified Alberto to deliver Crystal Ball Training in 2005, and he has already trained over 100 students on the use of Crystal Ball Software. He is the first certified Crystal Ball trainer in Latin America. Alberto graduated from the Universidad Tecnológica de Centro in Venezuela as a mechanical engineer. He has also earned his Masters in Financial Management (from University of Zulia) which has allowed him to combine both his engineering and finance backgrounds within resource allocation and reliability studies for industrial operations and maintenance. Alberto also serves as President of ISC GERENCIA DE ACTIVOS, a company dedicated to risk and reliability consulting.

Eduardo Herrera Lana

Master of Business Administración, graduado Summa Cum Laude en la Escuela Politécnica Nacional (Quito, Ecuador). Maneja cuatro idiomas: español, italiano, francés e inglés. Presidente Ejecutivo de CIDEM, empresa proveedora de soluciones de negocios en América Latina. Ha sido catedrático universitario por cerca de una década (Estadística, Presupuestos, Técnicas de simulación, Modelos de Simulación Financiera). Ha participado como instructor de ejecutivos en seminarios relacionados con Diseño de Proyectos, Gerencia Financiera, Evaluación de Proyectos, Análisis de Riesgo, Investigación de Mercados. Capacitado en los Estados Unidos en el uso de Crystal Ball.
Eduardo has been certified by Decisioneering, Inc. to teach Crystal Ball Software. Eduardo received a teaching diploma from the Military Institute of Technology (Quito, Ecuador,) and his MBA (Summa Cum Laude) from the National Polytechnic School (Quito, Ecuador.) Eduardo is proficient in four languages: Spanish, Italian, French, and English. He is the Executive President of CIDEM, providing business solutions throughout all of Latin America. For over a decade Eduardo served as a university professor teaching statistics, budget analysis, simulation techniques, and financial model building. Eduardo has also taught executive level seminars related to project design, finance management, project evaluation, risk analysis, and market evaluation.

Andy Lathrop
Andy Lathrop is a Trainer and Product Consultant for Oracle. He holds BS and MS degrees in operations research from the US Military Academy and the Colorado School of Mines, respectively. Andy has experience in discrete event simulation and marketing return on investment analysis, as well as mathematics and computer science teaching at the college level. Prior to joining Oracle, Andy worked in the Army Corps of Engineers, Accenture, and the non-profit sector.

Karl Luce
Karl Luce is a trainer and Six Sigma product consultant. He is a Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Master Black Belt and a Six Sigma Transactional Black Belt. He received his BS in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering from M.I.T. in 1985. Prior to joining Decisioneering in 2005, Karl held analytical and managerial positions within Fortune 500 corporations in the defense aerospace and automotive industries. His background includes mechanical engineering using finite element analysis, product engineering for automotive components, and managerial positions both in the United States and in Sweden. His most recent experiences improved engineering transactions and implemented robust engineering and predictive analysis within the product development cycle. During that time, he taught courses emphasizing QFD, FMEA, statistical methods, Sensitivity Analysis, DOE, and Optimization.

Brian Malejan
Brian Malejan is a trainer and product consultant for Oracle. Brian joined Decisioneering in October of 2006 and enjoys teaching the tools for risk analysis and Monte Carlo simulation. Brian holds a degree in statistics from the University of Denver. While attending the University of Denver, Brian studied everything from financial forecasting to statistical quality control as well as completing independent studies. Brian is continually amazed to find the list of applications where Monte Carlo simulation is useful is never ending.
John McKenzie
John McKenzie, an educator and consultant, is a specialist in applied quantitative research and analysis using spreadsheets. His planning under uncertainty modeling expertise includes descriptive data analysis, optimization (linear, nonlinear, integer programming), simulation, and regression analysis including discrete choice logistic regression. He received his MS in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Colorado State University and his JD from the University of Colorado.
John has taught numerous courses in economics, computer information systems, and applied data analysis. Resource economics, domestic and international agricultural modeling, real options, and financial analysis are among his areas of interest. He enjoys extending the frontiers of stochastic modeling and is particularly interested in broadening the mainstream use of OptQuest.
John teaches Introduction to Crystal Ball and Advanced Crystal Ball.
William J. McKibbin, PhD
Dr. William McKibbin is an independent management consultant specializing in strategic and operational planning, business modeling, process design, systems analysis, and financial engineering. He earned his bachelors degree from Temple University, his masters from Georgetown University, and his doctorate from Capella University, where he conducted extensive research in quantitative finance and econophysics. He is an active member of the Institute of Management Consultants, Institute of Management Accountants, National Association of Corporate Directors, International Society of Six Sigma Professionals, and American Finance Association. Dr. McKibbin has been in professional practice serving companies and boards in various capacities as consultant, director, and interim management since 1998.

Joseph Sauvageau, PhD
Dr. Sauvageau is a Decisioneering Six Sigma Partner and Consultant and is president of NeuralFire Technologies, Inc., a Six Sigma consulting and training company providing high quality technical and strategic consulting, competitive market research and business development advisory services for a wide range of industries in the US, Europe, and Asia. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the State University of New York and has an extensive background in statistical analysis, risk analysis, modeling and financial engineering.
Joe is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt and Management Consultant with over 26 years of technical and business experience spanning commercial, government, defense, and manufacturing environments. He has served in executive management positions ranging from start-ups through Fortune 500 companies and was one of the first Black Belts at Motorola. Joe has consulted, trained, and mentored business and technology leaders in companies spanning the semiconductor, chemical, telecommunications and financial services industries.
Joe uses Crystal Ball as a critical tool in his analysis, mentoring and training work with clients to enable them to make intelligent and informed business decisions. He teaches Introduction to Crystal Ball and Advanced Crystal Ball.
